Tanswell has since clarified that no deal has been agreed, rather than there is no truth in our interest. Which doesn't mean we're not interested. It also doesn't mean we're not not interested either. So all that's changed form this morning is that we all now know a little more about a Georgian that we may or may not be interested in.

The Georgian lad was very good for them in the last Euros. If we’ve been watching him at Lyon his team mate, Malick Fofana is worth a look at for a wide player spot.

Apparently we've agreed personal terms. Strange one as he turned down Brentford this week saying he wants to stay and help Lyon and has no thoughts of playing in the PL. Oh and he wants to play centre forward - or wanted to for Lyon.

It’s a weird old game football & particularly transfers where we all let ourselves get frustrated at angry about random social media accounts making up clickbait rumours that are rarely true.  Roll on September 2nd :-)

I for one will be waiting with baited breath for whether there was an interesting nugget of information on the 10.30pm embargoed stuff on press conference day for the media :-)
