I can't view Twitter feeds, but I seem to recall that Downing requested a transfer to force through his move to Liverpool, sacrificing a bonus in the process. I imagine Newcastle would want to insist Isak does the same if he's off.

I reckon it will be us next year with Morgan Rogers. I don’t think he’ll act a ****** but I can certainly see him being heavily targeted next summer and being more gracious about seeking a transfer. Especially if we don’t get CL, or maybe even if we do as we are seeing with Newcastle. We will need the £100M and Chelsea, Man City etc will have it to spend.

If we lose Rogers this summer we really can just pack it in.  I can see it happening too unfortunately - the usual suspects are being ruthless with picking off all the ‘challenger’ sides best players and the rules allow them to do it and prevent other clubs doing the same. 

Qualifying for the CL seems to mean jack shit anyway.
