🚨 NEW: Toulouse have rejected a bid from Aston Villa for Jaydee Canvot — new proposal to follow. Toulouse want around €20M.

Canvot looks an exceptional young player. I do hope if we get him he's actually used and not punted out on a loan to buy with 1.5m profit again!

Canvot and Jackson loan would fill the right side CB and striker vacancies, Asensio as back up for Morgan and maybe just need another winger and we will be ok this season

Would be pretty mad to spend that kind of money on someone who is going to get loaned straight back out when there are still a number of holes in the squad.

If we sign Jackson and Asensio I'd be amazed, but I would also very much doubt we'd get right winger too.

Sign him for £20 million, send him out for a loan fee of £21 million.

Isnt this the second bid we have had rejected, I think the last was about a month ago.

He wont be going on loan! not a chance, he would be coming to play.

Agree, but still think that not signing a first choice RB this summer will come back to haunt us as the season goes on.

Either we only asked for information about him a month ago or they've been sitting on the offer this long.

Looks a unit for 19.

He's a good player, Tall quick and tidy on the ball, I honestly think with a season breaking in slowly he could replace Konsa long term. He can also play midfield like Kamara too.
