Seen no indication Trossard is leaving Arse, he was in the eleven that started this week.

I don’t think he was. Or he had a really quiet game.

He was an unused substitute.

At this stage I'd snap your hand off for Asensio - knows the squad, bit of quality, can fit into the system, support for Rogers.

I'm sure it will happen.

Asensio is a no brainer for the money suggested.

Trossard is an experienced professional, who has quality, and would add to our squad. Barnes showed at the weekend why we shouldn't go for him. Elliott is a busy player and I'd be interested to see what Emery could do.

Trossard feels like the sort of player who ends up on loan somewhere at 8pm on deadline day.

Probably Fulham.

Trossard played 46 games for Arsenal last season. I can't really see any reason why he'd be rocking up at Fulham unless there is something I've missed.

They spent £50m on a player who plays in his preferred position, £60m on a new player who plays where he spent a lot of last season filling in and their (arguably) best player is fit again so he won't be filling in for him anymore.

And they'll be keen to keep bringing Nwaneri through, who also plays in his preferred position.

Even so. First team Arsenal player goes somewhere better than Fulham, I'd have thought.

Asensio was also in our UEFA A list last season, so presumably there is an advantage in that somewhere?

Asensio, loan a right winger with pace, buy a right sided defender. Win the Europa.

More tactical flexibility with Trossard than Asensio if it's a choice.

Trossard played regularly gets you about 8 goals a season plus assists.
While he may not get the pulse racing he would probably be a very solid addition.
