So if Mings is out, then Digne is playing central defence with a half fit Konsa. Emery got it wrong on Tuesday, but we've been fully shafted with injuries this season.

Surely it will be Bogarde

In the Lower Holte tomorrow, watching Olsen trying the sweeper keeper play it out from the back stuff will no doubt take years off my life expectancy...a win by one goal probably.

Reading the comments of both managers it could be two very weakened teams.  Unai's presser today has already conditioned us for failure.

I’m sure it was something that was lost in translation bit, but it’s all a bit negative.

I think when he says contenders he means favourites.

There are some words he uses over and over again. Fantastic and in our way come to mind.

He’s a fantastic manager though and I think just trust him!

Is seems to me that he meant we need to win the cup not to win a trophy but because it gets us into Europe.

Well, that suits me.

The club get what they want and so do the fans.

Great news, guys.

I've just won 560 quid from a 20 quid stake at 28/1.

I've had Cardiff winning at half time, and draw at full time.

I think we'll squeak past them unconvincingly, in half time or even worse, on penalties.

There's no way they don't score first.

Unless they're playing a front three of: The Ashes of Stephen Hawking - Jordan Bowery - That Blind Bloke off Strictly

I couldn't believe Bowery was still playing when I saw him play for Mansfield. He's only 33... and now a defender, so now in a position befitting his finishing skills.

I'm not sure whether i'd go with pace for this one from the off in Bailey, Malen (if available) and Rashford or bring one of them on when they start to tire. Lower league sides struggle with pace.

Just done my bit - I rarely win when betting. Put a tenner on Cardiff to qualify at 8/1.

Quarters here we come!

Regarding Emery's comments about not being contenders for the FA Cup, I tend to look at it this way:

Would you go into your yearly review with your boss saying everything is going to be extremely easy to achieve?
