The last time, according to the commentator, we played three at the back was the 4-0 gubbing to Tottenham. Definitely worth a revisit tonight then, Unai. Who changes their shape for Crystal fucking Palace?!

It was offside. Marginal but offside.

We need to be better.

Well it wasn’t. It was a clear mistake.

Watkins knee was clearly in front of any ball-playing part of a Palace player.

It would be quite the turnaround if Olsen could keep a clean sheet here.

I like the theory of our approach for the first half with the obvious intention being to bring on the Calvary at halftime/into the second half. But it ignores the reality of the fact that we cannot defend adequately for the last year or so and need to score 2 goals to have a chance of winning a game. So we may as well just go for it from the start.

Martinez was poor first the goal but made a great save not long after.

I really don’t think Watkins was offside and it was cr*p decision.
