Yeah, I saw that when I googled them for the 1905 thing.

I sketched over it in my dismissal of them. Much as our role in the formation of MK Dons.

There's always been something sort of plasticky, gimmicky and manufactured about Crystal Palace. I've no idea how old they are as a club, and can't be arsed to google, but they always come across as a bit of a modern era (in football terms) thing.

Even their 'big' rivalry with Brighton is laughably fake.

Founded 1905.

Founded in the twentieth century = a big no, no from me. How classless.

They tried to claim that they're a continuation of an old team called Crystal Palace, which would make them the oldest club in the world. It's utter bollocks, though.

Other than that, I've never really minded them. Apart from their annoying tendency to beat us.

Chelsea were also founded in 1905. Just sayin'.

Do you have the misfortune of Tony Gale on co-comms in the UK or is it just the US being subjected to his endless nonsense?

Indeed, the ultimate example.

Bogarde seems to be covering every position on the pitch at the moment - taking the utility tag quite literally.
