I might be wrong, but it’s a very keep it tight and disciplined type of starting line up and then batter them with our speed and directness when they get tired.

I think you’re right, let’s hope it works.

I hope thats the game plan but my worry is that we dont really cope well with intense pressure well. If we get in to half time withoyt losing we would have  agreat chance second half with the options on the bench

Hopefully Bogey is a CB and it's a back five.

Well I agree with *checks notes. Clears throat* Demitri. I don't like the look of that at all when you consider the alternatives, and that Rogers must be absolutely fucked.

SJM on the right to give Garcia some help as Rogers left Cash very exposed on Saturday.

Funny as a fair few thought since we can't defend Unai was just going to go all out attack and outscore them. You score two, we'll score three kind of thing. That line up says the opposite.

I'm guessing so many games in a short amount of time come into his thinking though

Surprised at that lineup too. Has Mateta brace before halftime written all over it. Quite the bench though.

We can replace the front 3 and have a spare too.

really suprised , was thinking Rogers on the bench to be fair and start Rashfod , ramsay starting and really think Malen deserves a start .  Seems Rogers is undropable.

Rogers and Watkins will always be patched up and sent out to start. I thought both looked very tired v Chelsea. Strange selection but picked to battle.

This season we've generally been shit in the first half (except when we weren't), I think Unai likes to really come alive for the last 10-15 minutes of the game, sending everybody home happy, waxing lyrical on how brilliant we were.

Not sure if you noticed at the end of the Chelsea game but Asensio was completely and utterly knackered, it was his first full PL game and it showed. Good on him, he gave it his all but I suspect Uncle Unai is trying to give him a bit of a rest. Plus he never drops Rogers or Bodgers. ;)
