As you suggest, a difficult ground to get to and even more difficult to get away from. To make it worse, the sightlines are even poorer than at Goodison and the concourse more crowded and potentially dangerous than at Burnley. And we rarely do well there, just one win since we were promoted (though I did actually see one of my all-time favourite Villa goals there, Dalian Atkinson's brilliant solo against Wimbledon). Nonetheless, I feel quite optimistic about the Palace game. Sooner or later our new attacking line-up is going to score a hatful, and tomorrow would be a great time to start.

I don't remember Bruce managing them.

I don't remember Bruce managing them.

He was at Wigan for about 5 minutes in 2001 and left them to join Palace. Where he, despite starting 01-02 strongly, left them to join, er, Birmingham City...

Relegate and disband them just for having to watch football through a letterbox in that decrepit shit hole Arthur Waite (who are ya?) stand.

I absolutely hate The Arthur Wait stand

My first visit to SP was for a game away to Charlton in '88, the week I went to Uni, for which away fans stood in The Holmesdale End.

If Palace aren't looking to move to a more modern stadium then demolition and rebuild of The AW (which I believe is in fact earmarked) is essential
