Superb finish by Watkins.

C'mon, you've got to commit to the bit.

Say it bounced off his shoulder or something.

It really is that sort of game with a makeshift defence and nobody to be aggressive in midfield we have to go at them.

And we are.

Ref will give them something now. To even that up.

How will we conspire to throw away another goal?! There’s plenty of threat from them, but more for us too.

Van Dijk trying to referee the match again. Prick.

Ref’s been good on the whole I think.

Excellent really. As football fans we are too quick to jump on perceived poor referee performances and way too reticent in praising good ones.

Our defence are awful. Our attack build up to second goal was fantastic. Many of the Lpool players are utterly dislikeable.

Great ball from Asensio in the build-up to get the move going.

After an iffy start (McGinn/Garcia) we are the better team. I'd love it, just love it if we beat them.

Does worry me that the ref will listen to them winge, and then even it out in second half. These are there for the taking. If we don’t gift them chances and take ours. But if it was that simple we would be top.

Marcus Rashford seems to be enjoying playing with us given his celebrations for our two goals

Thought the same after the first one. Or he just really hates Liverpool.

Just hope we dont fuck this up with another defensive shambles.

This is the kind of game that would have been handy if we had a DM to call upon second half
