Slightly off this topic, but I really didn't like the Allez, allez, allez song being played before the game! Do they think we need to have a recorded version to join in with?

With the amount of folk who joined in i think you may be in the minority - personally i think it is a great warm up song.

And the Yippee Eye Aye at KO is great also

I know a
Lot on here don’t like the guy on the mike doing it but chalk me up as another who likes it.

I agree with you about both of those songs - we sing them anyway without being prompted

Jeez - there are some miserable buggers on here   ;)

I know the razzamatazz is all very "American" but anything that creates an atmosphere is fine by me

Just waiting for the cheerleaders to appear  :o

We were singing a variant of this but for Dougie in Lille I think.  To the tune of Yes Sir, I can boogie by Abba.

Ohhhhhhhhh, yes sir!
Pass to Ollie
'Cos he's always scoring goals
Pass to Ollie
Super Ollie
All night longggggg

I been working on some player songs sort of following on from my thoughts of pun related Villa players:

working lyrics but all made by my mind

so to start with an obvious one :
could serenade Tyrone with Mings can only get better: A song about being injured and regaining form

How about some Abba then

To the winner takes it all tune:
Luca Digne takes the ball: when he takes man and ball in a winning challenge or when he steps up to take a free kick

or maybe

Disasi to the tune of Voulez -Vous

Disasi aha
sign him now dont leave it
aha
now is time we get
aha
he’s showing promise no regrets
Disasi
aha

I have two for our midfield maestro Tielemans:

Youri to me are Every Thing.
Song by The Real Thing

The sweetest passes that he can ping oh Youri oh Youri

Tielemans was not bought - to the tune of Englishman in new york
I don’t misplace passes I make them my dear ….

Give them a try next time you're at Villa Park, I'm sure they'll catch on.

We have loads of songs at the moment, more variety that I can ever remember. Rogers could do with a decent one, though.
