I know this thread is a bit of fun and they're unlikely to be ever heard at VP. However, I can't fathom why the Let it Be/Emery song never took off.

Which songs take off & which don't is a weird quirk really. I mean Vindaloo for John Carew was an absolute tap in but we managed to make up about 3 others for that one player without ever using that one.

I was at Anfield next to 2 guys who I am pretty sure were the instigators of the Gabby 'fast as...' song as they were singing that and one other one their own as loud as they could to try to get it going. Everyone was just laughing (in a good humoured way) including the Liverpool fans next us as we were right by the divide between the home and away fans. Everyone seemed to think it was the daftest thing they'd ever heard but the rest is history.

The other one was to the tune of 'To All the Girls I've loved before'

Which I think is genius but obviously too complicated!

It also sometimes seems like the more we like a player, the worse we are at coming up with a decent song! Like we are blushing tongue tied adolescents who fall to pieces when trying to chat up someone we really like!

Anyway- I asked chatGPT to come up with something to Chapel Roan's 'Good Luck Babe' & it gave me 3 verses, a chorus and a bridge which don't even fit the tune let alone say anything that would make a decent chant but..

How do people find the music that is now being played during match day games?

 Some of this music can help improve the mood, and I can recommend a few songs to play before the game begins , half time and after.  Although it is not boxing, several classic uplifting tempo beat tunes can help to lift the mood. 

I have a few recommendations and will attempt to get these things played on Saturday.  It's a move away from the rock metal genre that actually many players today dislike, and having a Spanish-themed song or two throughout the match day event I think would be very appreciated. Don’t forget on ear/headphones and dressing room the players are listening to music.

It’s a slight digression from new songs but it’s in the same topic of music and songs being played at the ground is up for discussion
