I remember getting my first ever Villa shirt from Harry Parkes by the Law Courts way back when. My Mom had to sew the badge on

Same here, used to love going to Harry Parke’s’ shop, always smelt of dubbin and leather, on two floors on the corner up from the Law Courts. I’m pretty sure he also had an outlet in Solihull.

The door handle was a cricket bat.

Dick Taylor was my go-to for all things Villa and football related. First Villa kit from there, with separate badge to sew on.
Pair of vinyl Terry Cooper trainers with coloured sections corresponding with different foot skills/shots.

Oh for the days when we had a shelf in Birthdays. And the rest of the floor was Man Utd stuff.

Some pictures online of the shop development. Seems to be on the ground floor under the Tommy Hilfiger shop if people know where that is. I think it might be at the M&S end closest to New Street Station.

Yes as long as you take the receipt, though you may not even need that.

Why could this not be opened sooner?
it doesn’t make sense for May and season ending

They need to fit the store out. Get stock sorted, recruit staff, sort the lease with the landlord and not do it half-arsed.
