Not to sound like Footy but I'm going to need Onana to string more than a handful of games together before I see him fist pumping at the fans again. Very disappointing signing so far.

he maybe good at languages but seems to be made of glass !

When it comes to playing, his language of choice appears to be Welch.

Onana does seem to be out injured a lot.  Looking back, his record isn't that bad at Everton, missing just a couple of games a season until last season when he missed 6 (calf injury).  Apparently he's missed 7 games this season with the hamstring.

I wonder if Onana has just had the same issue for a while and they’ve decided he just needs some time away to let it heal fully. Seems to have been very stop start for him.

That's my thinking on it. He started the season really well and looking like a great signing but then in the reverse fixture against this lot he spent most of the game feeling at his hamstring and doesn't seem to have ever fully recovered from whatever caused it.

Starting to look a bit stronger then (before we inevitably pick up another three injuries in the next week)

Martinez
Garcia Disasi Mings Digne
McGinn Kamara Tielemans Ramsey
Watkins Rogers

Rashford, Asensio, Maatsen, Bogarde to come on second half.

Or Bailey/Malen - some great options there.

MARTINEZ
GARCIA
MAATSEN
DISASI
MINGS
TIELEMANS
MCGINN
ROGERS
RASHFORD
BAILEY
MALEN

Rashford, Malen and Rogers for us in a 3-1 win.

From BBC via Emery:

"Matty Cash, Pau Torres, Ezri Konsa, Amadou Onana, Ross Barkley remain out but Tyrone Mings and Ollie Watkins have trained on Friday morning and are therefore in the squad."

If Mings is available, then this is a game to give BooBoo a bit of a rest

I'd go for this, but might start Asensio instead of Rogers

It's gas that Watkins and Konsa, virtual ever-presents, broke-down just as reinforcements arrived.

If Bailey starts and doesn't deliver again I'd say he loses the shirt.

Concrete Ron had more injuries breaking up his season (iirc) than his name would suggest.
Perhaps it’s a defender thing.

Erm...he played really well last time out.
