I hope we tap up Delap whilst they're in town. He needs to be a Villa boy next season.

Maybe we already have. Vinnie of this parish gave a little wink when someone suggested we should get him. Of course he might have had something in his versus a hint something was in the works. But Delap at 21 would be a great back up to Ollie. Then again ww did say that about the previous 21 year we had here in that role.

He looks like he's going to be a quality player.

Man City would have missed a trick if they didn't put a buy back clause in the sale.

I suppose they are relatively content with having Haaland though. But in general, they have an ageing first team that would be made less so had they held onto Delap, Rogers and Palmer - you can imagine the latter two would be starters for them this season.

Anyone noticed that the Knuckledraggers across the road are also at home at 3pm that day?

I think it might have been mentioned about 100 times.

Pedro Porro at right back as well, they flogged him to Sporting before Spurs bought him.

And Douglas Luiz. Pep has made some right cock ups.

And it’s not the first time we’ve had home games at the same time this year.

Do we reckon one or both of Rashford or Asensio will start?

I’ve just put Rashy (oops) in my fantasy team. Double game week opportunity. I’m top of my league so that’s a guaranteed hat trick. Thank me after.

Gonna be honest, that's kind of why I asked. Also going for Emery as assistant manager.

I had Moyes as assistant manager last week, double game week, both teams higher in the table, a result against both. Salah as captain. 80 points between the two of them.

Pure fluke. It'll never happen again.

I don't either will start, especially with the midweek game against Liverpool coming up.

Do we know if Watkins is fit to start?

Even if he is fit, I wouldn't start him. Give Malen another outing up front, and save Ollie for the Liverpool game.
