Yorke's goal may have been technically better, but Dean's was a proper 'what the fuck?!' goal, I used to sit behind the doguts then and we were right behind it.

At the point at which Saunders struck the ball, its not as if the keeper was that far off his line. Hell of a dip on the shot

Yep. Yorke's won the GOTM with the 20 passes build-up, but I agree Saunders goal was better.

We are due to twat someone soon so hoping for a decent win, but as others have said we need to leave some in the tank for 'The Mighty Reds YNWA' and Chelski

They'll have a good turnout as they make their way back from the protests in London, but this is the day it clicks and we'll twat them 5-1 with Asensio applying the coup de grâce.

I claim that Deano’s goal was one of the best I’ve seen.

In reality, I was looking at my programme and only looked up after he hit it.

4-0  if we play the way we played against Spurs the other day there’s not many who’ll live with us and certainly not Ipswich

So you still saw it sail over the keeper, someone who was probably on the 6 yard box if that. I remember the drooling over the Yorke goal at the time because of the "team" play which is why I mentioned 20 passes earlier. It was four.

7:42 in, Saunders at 11:55.

Loved that side, I don’t think Frogatt played too many more games for us did he.

He gave us such a balance on the left with Stan.

The keeper was Baker wasn’t it ? Bob ?

Froggatt was never the same after those Wimbledon animals crippled him in the Dalian GOTS game.

I may have mentioned before how much I really fucking hate Wimbledon. ******.

I’m so excited about this game. I’m taking my 7 year old to his first match. We live in SE London and it is hard to keep kids on the straight and narrow. He’s flirted with the idea of supporting Arsenal (2 of his best friends do) and my wife thinks I should bring him up Palace (so we can actually attend games). She has no interest in sport at all and just doesn’t understand how impossible that would be for me.

I still remember my first visit. August 86, lost 0-3 to Spurs on the opening day. I’m hoping we do slightly better than that.

Sounds like it is time to find a new wife who understands your needs! ;-)
