JJ has to take these one on one chances, could have been all over early. Very happy with the new additions. Commentators going on about Spurs injuries never mentioned ours.

Shearer mentioned it just about on 90minutes having talked about their problems all game.

Just catching up now but I think we had 7 out tonight all of whom may well have started!

Asensio is a porn star! What a player!

I thought that was Tony Moon.

I've been saying I wouldn't have McGinn in our best XI but I thought he was incredible today.

If that was a taster of what’s to come from Asensio and Rashford they’re going to be great.
you can see Rashford has the hunger.

Well reports this week said he has the third-lowest body fat in the squad so he must be starving. Maybe McGinn could pass the meatballs.

JJ's my fave but if Ollie had missed all those chances tonight, he'd have been hounded off of Heroes and Villains foreva.

Thought Bergvall would have to take somebody's leg off in order to get booked.

And how pleasant was it that the odious little twat Porro coughed up the ball for Rogers to score our second?

You’re a fan of Porro then? 🤣

What gave me away?

players still to come back , our leading goalscorer missing , those two to get match fitness

yes the second half will be great

p lop , chelsea , spurs  and arse out ,  it could be :)

And Asensio .. you dont play for real madrid for ten years and be average  , I just knew he would be class , like our new Merson  and great to see Rshford working hard .

Hope the armchair lot enjoyed us.

Tut! We don't all live in Hinckley with east Astonian access.

What was worse, for me, was a couple of them could have been goals for someone else if he'd passed it. If you're going to take the shot yourself, you need to score. He wasn't the only one guilty of that tonight.

Yeah, he has to square that one in particular.

Everytime you think we might have outgrown him, his arse-power just grows more to match us.

This is why I can’t stand this ridiculous, overrated club. In defeat to a club at least as big as them, the headline is about them. Who gives a fuck about ‘who they are.’ Tossers.

I'm fine with it as the pressure will just get to them even more. Maybe they lost on purpose to have a reverse effect then when they score four past us.

That was fun, new boys all looked good. Get some defenders back and the second half of the season should be a good craic.

*craic isn't countable

But I get what you mean. This is gonna be a Villa Spring as good as 2023 and 1998, I can feel it.

Massive Tottingham inquest again on the Beeb.

They're just shit.

When will you learn.

I thought Spence despite being out of position tried hard. Conte used treat him as a joke but he was very good for Forest. A lot more heart than Porro anyway.

By all accounts he’s been their best player in the last 3/4 games.

I’d agree with that, I seem to have watched them a fair bit lately for some reason.
