I’m glad he’s starting Bailey. It’s his last chance to cut out the half arsed performances knowing there are serious options on the bench for his place.
Bailey has had too many last chances for me. He’ll do the square root of f**k all again today like he has for most of this season.

I don’t get why we don’t fill our bench? Surely we have a young centre half etc to sit there! If nothing but for the experience.

WOOH, the optimism on here is all just a bit overwhelming, fellas...🙄

Whatever today's result, we can at least say that we put out a team that shows we are treating the competition with due respect. Unlike a certain other Prem side who have just been knocked out, and who I could care to mention...

Yep, we’ve got one youth player on there, why not add a couple more? I know the best ones are on loan (we’d usually see Swinkels and Kadan Young listed), but for the experience if nothing else?

Unless as others suggest, it’s an admin oversight and we’ll see 9 on the bench come kick off?

Difference today is that there is a 3 x Champions League winner waiting in the wings to come on.

Team looks rubbish to me. We're going to have to score 4 to win today.

Really? Rubbish. I thought that back in 2015 or so when the likes of Richards was stinking the place out.

Onana is dispointing , he is becoming a right sicknote and got 50 million is a litlle worrying ,  Bailey started again and how many times have I said last chance saloon ,
obviously Kamara has played at the back in his french career but we dont half miss him in midfield , thats why I was hoping onana might be in for some muscle , thou he aint seeming like hes got more muscle and power lately more like glass.

Anyway come on Villa , please do these fuckers.

Absolutely right to take this seriously.  No Arsenal, no Liverpool, no Chelsea.  If we get through today, we could go far in this competition.
