It will be Olsen not Martinez in goal.

Why. Emi by his own admission owes one after a poor goal conceded against Wolves.

He can pay that off by not conceding two goals to Ipswich the following week.

Wonder if there's an outside chance of the young CB Mosquera being involved somehow. He's come back off loan with Real Union and not gone out again, which is interesting

Think he's in South America for a Youth Tournament, which Colombia are doing very well in so far.

Tottenham to play out of their skins and win, having been absolutely shit for about the last month. See also: Wolves.
Sadly it’s this isn’t it.

Probably, though it's more a case that Angeball is Kryptonite to Unaiball (2024-25 version). The one time we did well was when we played the "tripwire" high line, and we don't do that anymore.

Hopefully the Spurs game tonight will go to extra time and penalties - no excuses for Villa on Sunday, we should beat them 3-1

A talented young Colombian?! What could go wrong!

Yep, he's listed in their squad

Looks liek he played in their opening game

If Martinez is dropped then we lose.

If Martinez is dropped then we lose.

Based on recent form maybe not. I love Emi, but his form this season hasn’t been great - a few remarkable saves apart. I’m not saying he shouldn’t start, but in the round based on his form and the relative merits of the sides it’s not quite as alarming as it might normally be.

We have secret weapons since last time. Perhaps their identity isn’t that secret but their impact in our team certainly is. Not even a training video has appeared from Villa, so far this week, just a photo of 3 guys doing weights at BH and smiling.
If I were Ange I’d be worried. 🤞

Under Unai beat them 2-0 at their place new years day 2023, gave them a 2-1 battering at our place April 2023 and beat them again 2-1 at their place November 2023. The last of those wins was against the Aussie 5 year old.
Granted its gone pear shaped in the last two game home and away, but there is really nothing to fear here.

Unai gave them three days off, apparently!

Ah, that’d explain it!
Thought the absence of a training video was Unai messing with Spurs’ minds before the weekend!

Great idea, though. Hopefully the lads have all relaxed and recharged. COYVB!

Olsen only has until the end of the Season left on his contract doesn't he? So not like we need to curry favour with him.

Play Martinez, he's a million times better.
