Might replace Konsa in the team soon enough.

He's a big bugger.  Be good to play him, Mings and Onana in the same side, Nanny McPhee will cream his knickers at that height to play with.

Well the obvious thing for me would be him and Pau at centre back, once the latter is fit. It’s what Pau has been missing beside him.

Especially with a player like Asensio playing the balls in.

GET IN !!!!! Fantastic signing .

(Is he any good ?)

He was at 3.10 Saturday afternoon last season vs Luton, we can build on that.

I always thought there was something unusual about Nanny McPhee.

I’d say he’s more dominant. It gives us much better balance- he should be perfect next to Pau.

Has he done whatever the modern equivalent is of shirt-stretching yet?

Quicker as well. As I've said before Konsa and Pau are more sweep behind style defenders, Mings and Disasi will step out and try to win the ball more. Carlos never became a regular for us because he's not aggressive enough to do the Mings role but not quick enough or good enough at ready play to do the sweeping role. I think he'd have been fine if we defended deep (backed up by all his best performances being against teams who pinned us back) but he just wasn't suited to how we play at all.
