Fans are strongly advised not to attend the stadium if you do not have a valid match ticket. There will be a large Police presence with ticket cordons in place on approach at Witton Lane.

And I send all best to all attendees tomorrow.

Including may or may not Prince William, who of course will have RP0 That's Royal Protections officers, but again it's also best not to speculate on William being in attendance due to security. (I suspect he will be at the match.)

For discussion sake though we can expect that extra policing security visible around Birmingham itself and at the ground anyway, given the event and William at the match MI5 (military intelligence 5 comes from the 5th branch of the protective military intelligence) will be in place I suspect.

They're doing the same they do every match, with a bit more road closure after kick-off, presumably so they can keep a better eye on anyone without tickets.

The anti terrorism stuff was mentioned in a. Statement by the police I saw earlier.

I suspect that like the Ajax and Olympiacos matches the only people who will be able to enter Witton lane from Witton island will be Celtic supporters. This wasn’t the case against Bayern or Juventus (and I doubt against Bologna although I was in North Stand then)

Bologna fans got kettled, I know because my dad accidentally got kettled with them. No harm done, lots of Italian lads made sure the stewards got him safely where he was meant to go.
