Thinking about this a bit more I'd give Rogers a rest and keep him on ice for the Celtic game .

Like many, I have supported Bailey through 'thick and thin' but enough is enough. Has to be dropped against West Ham..

Last season he was our Mo Salah, this season he is our Mo Farah. Running around in circles!! He has lost all confidence, pace and his positional sense is disruptive to the team. I sometimes think he is hiding from the ball. Must do Unai's nut in.

One thing I noticed about Liverpool is Mo Salah is often their 'out ball' from defence. He stays higher up the field than any other Liverpool player and always out towards the right touch line. With haste, the ball is either hoofed in his general direction, or if a Liverpool player has a bit more time, a precision pass to him follows. Salah has space, then a 'charge of the light brigade' from the rest.

One thing I noticed about Villa, is that we dither and fart around with the ball at the back and by the time it reaches Bailey he is suffocated by defenders.

Yes, Bailey has been playing shyte but perhaps we are doing him no favours. He could be our 'out ball' with either Watkins or Duran dropping a bit deeper when we are defending.

Just a thought.

3-1 win.

They'll score with their first shot on target within 10 minutes, we'll come out 2nd half and smash 'em.

Yeah drop bailey for  sure. His performance  vs monaco was pathetic. Its not the first either.

I think unai is losing patience  with him too tbh

4.30pm on a Sunday - result 0-0

Duran and Malen to both start the game.

I don't think there's a chance that Duran and Malen both start, though I can see them both getting minutes.

Tricky game (aren't they all these days?) but we're on the second longest unbeaten home run in the Premier League and that will continue.

If he had the timing, skill strength confidence and bravery of Mo Salah it would work brilliantly.

One thing we lack in abundance in our team is pace . And pace as we know is deadly in this league .

Frank McAvennie, Joe Cole, Carlton Cole. West Ham had the better versions of all 3.
