Bench looks a bit thin

Hopefully SJM will be back next week.

Not surprised Watkins is starting. We win this and we're almost guaranteed top8 finish. Duran has come on a lot this season but going with a player as solid as Watkins, in terms of his overall play and ability to not get sent off, its the right call.

What a time to have injuries to McGinn and Barkley.  No squad rotation for Kamara and Tielemans, meanwhile, no protection for them either with 4 attackers ahead of them.

Hopefully Bogarde can continue to impress when called upon.

I’m amazed Mr Duran isn’t starting.  We are only another couple of water bottles away from his next strop.

Surprised and a bit worried that he has been acting up behind the scenes again. Think was a game Ollie could have sat down for.

Huge night for Buendia particularly and Bailey also, need to deliver or further opportunities will be reduced.

Delighted to see Emi the Little get a start but I’m surprised about Duran. Then again Ollie is a streaky scorer so maybe Emery with the finish line in sight is sticking with the hot “foot”.

As much as I love Duran and what he could become, watching the last training session he really needs to get over himself. Previously I watched him turn up late for the group, then acting the twat as he wanted to be in another group rather than the one the coaches had put him in. Mings had to drag him in. Then he did nothing but Unai sent him in.

The other day he at least got out in time though again the last player out. He then put in a half arsed warm up and really wasn't that interested. I know this is down to reading his body language but I really think the lad needs to grow up. That stupid interview where he brags about arguing with Unai was fucking embarrassing.

Fantastic player, could go on to achieve whatever he wants but I'm thinking he has forced Unai's hand to play Watkins tonight by once again acting like a twat. You can't be seen to reward such actions so he only has himself to blame.

I'll still go 3-1 win with Watkins and Konsa to score . But instead of Duran I'll pick Rogers.
So hoping they get there first goals.
I've had a feeling about Konsa as he's appeared in the build up and think our set pieces have been very good in Europe so he could score

I wished Mings scored more often but if I was to take a centre back for a goal I would say Konsa.

Konsa to score would be worth a bet!

Just a reminder in good hands this evening.
Top Official this evening  Slavko Vinčić  was the official for last season final.

Certainly he's calm ref but the threshold for penalties is different in UCL.

Also I think keepers will be protected more often than not for fouls
