Ipswich tickets
« on: January 20, 2025, 10:35:43 AM »
I was expecting these tickets to be on sale today from 5pm, as usual for members, but I received an email saying tickets are on sale from 9.30am, so I thought I'd try and get some.

I've tried about a dozen times, and everything goes through fine until it gets to the payment, and then it just says there's an issue with the payment.

Has anyone tried and succeeded in getting tickets ?

How can it be such an issue getting tickets, it's every game that something goes wrong, the Champions League games have been a real roller coaster trying to get them, I didn't think I'd have to waste an hour getting Ipswich tickets, and still I haven't got any.

Have been trying for the past hour, originally it wouldn't take payment after trying several times, now the ticket site is completely down

It was 9.30am for members, got as far as the checkout but they wouldn't take my money!

Villa Support have tweeted something about an error with the website they are looking to resolve.  also these tickets have been taken off sale.  Must be linked.

You can guarantee it's not plain sailing not matter what match. I thought it was strange to change from 5pm to 9.30am, it sounds like a communication error in telling us the earlier time, I'll try again at 5pm, what could possibly go wrong ?

Just a follow up on this, as I emailed the club to have a little winge.

Apparently since before the Leicester game all online/phone ticket sales will commence at 9.30am and not 5pm, as it was at the start of the season.

This week's problems were caused by "a system-wide technical error preventing the ticketing system from selling or reserving tickets for any games", and "there were issues with our payment system, which did not accept payments from selected banks."

Hopefully the problems will get resolved in time for the bun fight that there will be for the knock out stages of the European Cup for members.
