We are still unable to beat the top teams. Tielemans superb second half.
I suppose you are right as Mancity are no longer a top team and it’s long time ago when we doubled do this lot.

Does anyone actually watch these commentaries other than opposition fans taking the piss?

I’m not totally convinced the ball hit Havertz’s arm for the disallowed goal…..it looks like it came off the pointy pit of his hip bone.

But, hey ho.
Shit happens. We should have had a corner that wasn’t given.

No offence Andy but you should have given up refereeing after the England Argentina 86 game mate.
In my defence, I’ve only seen it from the match coverage, not any subsequent analysis.
Yes, clearly hit the forearm and made the ball loop up and change direction. Purely accidental but didn't take long to rule it out. Emi getting grief for the goals but thought he was unfortunate for both, a few inches either way and could have been worldie saves. Both point blank too. I've got a feeling we'll be OK in Monaco 🇲🇨

I am off to specsavers tomorrow after reading a couple of comments on here expressing doubt about Havertz volleyball assist yesterday. I obviously need better glasses.

They've already been inundated with enquiries in the N7 area. https://x.com/Specsavers/status/1880924747229487312

I thought it would be entertaining to dip into the Gooners forum. It's quite an experience. The level of insults towards our club and our city was vile. First off the matchday thread was titled Villa Vulvas. The rest was a pretty unhinged take on today's match and a random sprinkling of casual racism and and personal insults to our players and and especially our manager. There doesn't appear to be any moderators or if there is they're extremely lenient. They're so horrible as a fan base I can actually say something I never thought I would. I hope Liverpool win the league. There i've said it now. I'd better go and scrub myself.

They're easily the worst fans in the division.

They really are the most bitter, entitled pricks.

Obviously, go straight to the part where we score (7:20 onwards).
Brilliant,  all like 'Roger Nouveau' on The Fast Show..

Arteta was surprisingly uncvntish in his post match interviews.

Jonathan Pearce trying to enforce his unasked opinion that Arse's young left back was the best he'd  seen at the club since Kenny Sansom. Presume Ashley Cole doesn't count.

I did find amusing that lad who after the game had finished was still sitting there banging the seat in frustration. Silly arse.

You don’t really believe that do you? You can’t have really watched it, or you’re on a wind up.

The thing with Arsenal is that before Wenger they were still getting less than twenty thousand at some matches. The perfect storm of football, London and north London in particular becoming so fashionable, added to their historic sense of superiority, gave them a degree of entitlement unsurpassed anywhere on earth and meant they were the club of choice for footie luvvies everywhere.
