It's a shit move for us if it's a loan with an option at their end, as reported.

I dunno, if he plays semi-regularly for them, we're likely to at least get our money back.  One of the benefits of cheap punts like this, is that short of injury of age issues, we're always likely to 'break even' when they're moved on.

I don't know if he'd been on the piss like many others before the City game, but he really struggled in that first half - but Unai sees him every day, so if it's time to move him on, let's do so and find someone else to challenge Cash (though he's doing a pretty good job of seeing off right-backs the last couple of years!)

Do you want the moon on a stick?! Agreed. I guess he needs to prove himself as he hasn't done much for us. I don't think many clubs would probably take that punt.

What a debut. Assume from that he went on to become the new Paolo Maldini.

What's going on with Nedeljkovic? Still only 20, but not exactly made an impact at Leipzig

Guilbert, Nedjelkovic, Garcia - we have had a few goes at cheap right back cover. Cumulatively those three fees probably would have got a good player that really competed with Cash.

Cash is indestructible. Did he even kill off Fred Guilbert?

Thankfully we’ve sold at prices around the purchase price, potentially a profit after amortisation.  With Cash as the mainstay, I think it’s wise to gamble on the understudy.

Ned waa at Lepzig on loan for the 2nd half of 2024-25  - he made 10 appearances.

He went back there in August on a season long loan. But Leipzig had changed managers in the summer and this season Ned's only had 5 games - he seems to have fallen out of favour., although injuries affected availability.

Looks like he's wasted last season in terms of career development.
