Not the young lad’s fault today. He was playing in a makeshift defence who had never all started together before, away in grudge match at a significantly higher level then he’s ever played before. Put a good cross in early doors and looked like he wanted to take his man on. But then getting dispossessed in important areas of the pitch and was probably the right decision to withdraw him. Whether it was the right decision to start him is a different matter.

I’d also add that having an inexperienced Bogarde in front of him didn’t help either of them on the right side against a fired up Wolves team.
