Tielemans is having a shocker here.
His corners are awful

Like against West Ham, it won’t take much of a step up to beat these.
It’s whether we lift our game.

I think this is the plan these days.  Then step up second half.

How can we be so flat with Roger’s and Ramsey on the pitch?
Has Ramsey even been on the ball yet?

On reflection after West Ham, this is my thinking too. Emery visualises games phase by phase and plans accordingly (supposedly), so can well imagine he plans ahead to a crazy degree.

Alternatively it would be nice to go 2-0 up occasionally and kill the game with walking football after that, not before.

And yet they'll probably score with their first shot on target

We don't seem to have got any better at playing out from the back after all this time, always someone capable of a shoddy pass or miss control leaving Emi 1 on 1 with the striker. Does nothing for my ticker..
