Sunday: BBC Sport runs an article lauding the phenomenal improvements of British players on clay.

Monday: both remaining British players knocked out.

If only the night before Wembley they’d had an article about Crystal Palace being bloody amazing.

Alcaraz goes through as Musetti retires injured, now awaits the winner of Sinner and Djokovic, which could be a cracker.

Real shame for Musetti, who was playing at a tremendous level for two sets.

Should be a couple of close finals with the top two seeds meeting in both. 'Mon Coco and Carlos.

Yeah that's the double I'm hoping for.

Can't believe there's so many empty seats at the women's final. It's a great match so far, Sabalenka winning the first set.

She's miles in front in the grunting stats as well.

I see they're still doing that annoying thing where the umpire climbs down to look at a close call when they have hawkeye that could do the job. Baffling.

The great summer of sport has started with a great Test match and the Lions Tour, to come are the Euros, British Grand Prix, Tour de France, The Open and of course Wimbledon starts today, it's gonna be hot!

Tbh Lew, most of those sports bore me to tears. Don't mind Wimbledon, but Football and NFL are the best sports by miles; Summer is the worst time of year for sport imo.

Was quite enjoying watching the Brits but BBC would rather show the top seeds boringly obliterating their way through. To iPlayer, I go.

Good wins for Kartal and Tarvet.

And so does Fery, who I have never previously heard of.
