One of these last 3 need to stand up now. Retaining it is nice but not to win would be truly abysmal with the lead going into today.

All I can say is thank goodness for Hovland's neck issue. What a valuable half that will turn out to be.

That was so stressful, ell done Shane Lowry, when others were wilting.

Let’s go and win it outright now.

At long last, 14.5 points. Europe win.

Indeed. I'm surprised there is no provision for substitutes.

Wonderful result for Europe!  I’m very pleased for Lowry, who was being targeted by some of the crowd, yesterday.

It’s strange how the American team play so much better as individuals rather than in pairs.

Can only imagine the Americans had a few extra dollars in the contract to win singles matches because they were immense today.  Had Europe lost it wouldn’t have necessarily been a bottle job, it just took USA 3 days to play to their strengths on a course set up to suit them, Friday & Saturday on their side were the massive bottle jobs :-)

Fair play to Aberg for actually winning a point, clutch from Shane to hole out & Hatton to bring it home.

As for the dregs & slobs supporting ‘who-ess-ayy’ with their nonsense….quack quack oops!!

Seeing them streaming out once Europe had got to 14 was a beautiful sight.  Would have been even better if it have been even better if it had been accompanied with a few renditions  of "You've seen the Europe, now f@ck off home" sending them on their way.

A sub would be more open to abuse than the envelope is.

Swapping a fatigued player who has played all 4 sessions for a totally fresh player Sunday will happen…

Envelope rule is fine, it just needs independent doc to examine and rule if a player is fit / not fit - if doc says they are fit then it’s a forfeit if they don’t play but if not fit then it’s a half…likewise an independent referee who adjudicates on other reasons for not being available ie 1993 when Peter Baker daughter was rushed into hospital, he made it back in time to play (& win) but if the same situation arose the ref decides if it’s an envelope situation.

Matt Fitzpatrick wins the DP World Tour Championship in a play off against Rory, who wins The Race to Dubai title.
