Does it go to penalties after 90 mins if a draw?

Yes.

Cheers.  Shame Martínez isn’t in the squad then.

Strong team. If I was the opposition manager though, I'd be pressing very high up the pitch when theres no Emi or Torres in the Villa team.

And putting a fair few balls high into the box
To be fair Mings is very good in the air so I woudl say from that front were pretty nutral

I was thinking more about Olsen flapping away

Aaah. Not really bothered about the cup then.

Despite the talk yesterday of seeing it as a chance of the Europa and a chance to add to our history.

Mourinho and Pep - for all their many, many faults - took this competition seriously. And the League Cup, even.

We have probably one of the top 2/3 bosses in the league at present, which is a bit of an anomaly. Emery's success rate easily elevates him above the likes of Ange mate, the new bloke at Chelsea and the other chancers.

Yet we still can't take this comp seriously. Hmm.

I wonder if Onana isn't doing what Emery wants him to do.  Happy to bench him recently.  Unless he's saving him for the Everton game.

Well, that's the team talk sorted.

I was already grumpy due to my flight being cancelled (second one a row from KLM), Olsen being selected has not helped my mood.

ITV commentary describing Lopetegui's sacking as 'sudden'

Aside from Emi out with a slight injury, Unai's pretty much picked the strongest side available. But apparently. we're not taking the competition seriously. ???

Haven't bought much Villa gear for ages. I need one of these tops. Lovely as well as tonight's kit.

I agree, really nice hoodie and the shirts are fantastic as well.

Let s hope we play the game so they dont get much of a sniff of goalscoring opportunities a bit like the Leicester game.

So apart from Emi who does have a slight injury who else would you have started? Strange comment.
