What is the utter fucking point of playing Olsen?

To give Martinez a rest.

Or Emi wanted to wear his black GK kit and there was a major bust-up when he was told he couldn't. Heard he stormed out of VP.

The point of Olsen is that if Martinez gets injured we need a bloke who has first team experience in a meaningful match and what better opportunity than a non priority cup game.

Cant complain about the starting line up considering, bit gutted about Olsen, but hasnt Emi being playing with a sprain or minor fracture or something.
Any way left it late enough need to head out into the cold, cmon the boys

Stronger than expected. On Olsen I guess we need him to be ready should he be needed so he needs minutes somehow; if not now, not sure when.

Fair play, that's much stronger than I'd expected.

Non priority cup game? I despair, sometimes.

Apparently the pre-match tifo is a giant version of tonight's badge. Looks good from the pics.

If Emi gets injured we’re utterly fucked whether Olsen has a small amount of match fitness or not.

Guess that both Barkley and Kamara are "in form" (as much as defensive midfielders can be) and him in place of Tielemans is too defensive.

Presume we'll see him for Barkley inside an hour though.

Couldn’t make the game, asked my mate if he’d be able to grab me one of the programmes, he got to ground to find they were all sold out! As are the one on the website. It’s very typical of Villa to not make enough available of a celebration of the club’s 150th year.
