Pau is a loss in these types of games, he can spot a pass from deep to open things up. With him and Rogers playing our problem hasn’t really been creating stuff, but today we look very poor.
It's safety first with every pass, heaven forbid we take on a player, we're creating nothing as demonstrated by Watkins breaking Gabby's record for fewest touches in a half. Watkins managed seven, one less than Gabby's eight against I think Man City. At least those touches weren't all from kick offs. We're really missing Duran today who at least brings a purpose to our attack.
JJ needs to stand out rather than blend in. He's our only hope of changing the game.
