Happy New Year everyone.

I know sometimes the arguing and the name-calling can get a little bit out of hand, but it is the differing opinions that make this place special - even when they are wrong :)

Happy New Year to you all. Hoping for an upturn in results and for Chris Heck to come up with an idea we can all actually get behind.

This is hardly in the spirit of Auld Lang Syne, but... As an only occasional poster but avid lurker/reader since 2008 (0.154 posts per day apparently) I come on here less and less, thanks in no small part to the seemingly endless shite posted by two particular forum members, one of whom is alleged to be a banned returner. Their Intellectually challenged stream-of-unconsciousness written pollution - think Fabricant & Dorries in claret and blue scarves - is such that if I cannot be fooked to wade through it why on earth should the *real* lifers - BE and others - be expected to?

H&V has for so long had an atmosphere of fraternal/sororal conviviality that has proven time again to be a safe place for me and others. Yet I've pretty much had it as things stand.

I wish all who read this a HNY and a better 2025.

Paddy, Rory, Monty, CDBWF, Perce, Dave Mod et al - thank you for being the only thing that keeps me here.

ETA: Did I just quote Jacob Rees-Mogg? Ugh. That's how bad things are.
Fuck you Rodders for mentioning those ****** and leaving me out. I am going to stick pins in your dummy.
I wish you a superb Villa winning year😊
