I'm not sure it was deliberate. But it didn't look like he was trying too hard to avoid it.

Unai's reaction, or lack of it...

It looked a bit deliberate to me. At the very least, he can’t give the ref a decision to make.

It was obviously accidental. Taylor has just decided Newcastle will win the game. Woeful decision

Wouldnt suprise me if it was deliberate to bw honest. He threw a strol when he wasnt allowed to take the freekick. No idea why they didnt allow him too as he can bang them from range.

So he's been sent off for moving his foot to somewhere "near" the player's head according to Clattenburg. Which shows intent apparently.

I'd have said it showed intent to NOT kick hi in the head.

This is a fucking joke.

I can’t make my mind up, I can see it from both sides
Obviously the ref only sees it from there’s

I'm lenient on refs and I didn't think that was a red card.

It’s rare that anything good comes from us visiting Newcastle or Man U. Not even Emery can break that spell.

For me his foot kicked up because he was trying to get his ass to the floor more than anything.

That’s not a red

It is. Total stupidity
Red card all day.
He was getting frustrated.  Annoyed that he couldn't take the free kick  earlier and unfortunately he's let his team mates down bigtime.
Yes , can be seen this way -I guess. he is not master of his temper always and probl could have put his foot differently if not had been frustrated.

You can see his standing leg slip from under him a little immediately before the "stamp". I think he's been really harshly done by there.
