Back to checking other teams fixtures and hoping they fail.

Yes but the hard work was done up to Christmas. League wise we are limping over the line.

We have Tottenham and Burnley up followed by Liverpool at home. We will need 4 points from that. I know today was shit but we’re not fucking it up.

Today we certainly played like a team that has already made it.

Yes but not happy to have lost 11 league games already this season now, going forward this has to change.

Have you written off next week already?

I think we looked the furthest thing from a CL team that you can be.

(I know what you meant though)

I certainly wouldn't be surprised to see Brighton overtake us. Today was so crucial and we completely shit the bed. I'm worried for the rest of the season.

I’m not in the PWS adamant it’s done space. But in spite of some trepidation, particularly after today, it’d still be a surprise if Brighton did overtake us. It’s still majorly in our favour, but I’d like us to finish the job - and help finish Spurs (who will no doubt win today).

In early March everyone on here was writing us off. Here we are 8 points clear despite losing.

I think sometimes it's a pity we aren't more resilient. We don't have throw the towel in.

4 points will do it and most probably just one more win. To fail now would be absolutely unforgivable

I think we'll finish ahead of Bournemouth and Chelsea. My concern is Brighton, who have hit a rich vein of form. They can get to a maximum of 62 points - we need 5 points to ensure we finish above them as our goal difference is inferior to theirs. Having said that, I'd be surprised if they get maximum points. Hopefully, Newcastle can beat them at home next week - surely they can't stay in this current poor form?

It can happen, but it would definitely be a surprise. Even after today. We have two of the bottom three to play up next. One win will probably be enough.
