That Leeds equaliser was helpful, basically means a win completely eliminates any possibility of Bournemouth catching us.

I realise we’re very highly likely to make it, but until it’s mathematically done I’ll personally be mildly nervous. I think we’ll do it, I just want it rubber stamped.

That's where I am

Yup me too.

When as many of us on here have experienced nothing particularly pleasant of note as it relates to Villa in the 3 decades, filled with several significant disappointments with something good there for the taking, we need the math to math. No doubts, over the line, objective secured and on to the next. Our collective balls are black and blue from the kickings they’ve taken in quarter finals, semi finals and finals as well as CL qualification disappointments.

Even though I am currently on your side of the pond, saying ‘math to math’ is totally unacceptable.

We qualified weeks ago. Odds are high that even if we lose every game we'll still have enough points for top 5. And we won't lose every game.

My apologies Andy. I forget my roots at times. Where are you on this side of the world?

You can't spell "in Canada" without "I can".

Accepted TV, you have obviously been unduly influenced but I agree with you on most stuff so we are ok.

Spending some time on and around the Sea of Cortez, currently in Loreto in the Baja.

The main thing is I’ll be back for the semi final.

I know what you’re going for, but we didn’t qualify weeks ago because we haven’t qualified yet. It’s highly likely we will obviously, but we haven’t yet.

It’s still mathematically possible that we can win the league, but no one thinks that’s likely. Except me. I absolutely think we will.

It’ll take an extraordinary set of results for us to not qualify for the Champions League. We can definitely relax a bit now. If anyone think it’s possible, it won’t take much of a stake to make yourself a life-changing sum of money.

So I don't have to, has anybody worked out when the earliest weekend / game it is that we can have it done and dusted?
