Sad times, it could be "Rangers". Only if they win the league, though.
Hopefully the Jambos will hang on in there.  Could be a great year - Villa win something for the first time in forever, Inverness win Scottish League One, Knighton Town get their highest finish in the Welsh pyramid since the early 90s*, Wrexham get their highest ever finish, the Old Firm win fuck all, Chelsea nowhere near Europe, Spurs relegated, ...

* To save anyone looking it up

Ardal North East Division (Welsh 3rd tier)

1. Llanuwchllyn - P27, 70pts
2. Bow Street - P26, 53pts
3. Penycae - P29, 48pts
4. KNIGHTON TOWN - P23, 47pts
5. Dolgellau - P25, 46pts
6. Corwen - P26, 40pts

I suppose we want a draw tonight.

Any result is much of a muchness. Chelsea continuing to lose for the lols wouldn't be the end of the world.

In the last 6 league games played, Brighton are the form team apart from Man City. A draw would be perfect but hopefully academic.

Why we need to finish 4th or better and win the Europa League to screw Chelsea.

This season, the Premier League has again been awarded an extra Champions League spot thanks to the strong performances of its clubs in Europe. Known as a European Performance Spot (EPS) by UEFA, it means fifth place is enough to qualify,

If Villa finish fifth and win the Europa League, this EPS would be bumped down to the sixth-placed team, which currently is Chelsea.

But if we stay 4th or higher, and win the ECL,the Europa League winners’ place would instead go to the highest-ranked team in the Champions League qualifying rounds (based on UEFA club coefficients). The Premier League would remain on five Champions League places, and not to whoever ends up in 6th place in the Prem.
