Us and Liverpool scoring so late will be like a dagger through the heart of everyone chasing.

I just said to a mate, for SO many years we've been the club having our hearts broken by late goals (either in our matc, or in others), and now we ARE the club scoring them and breaking the hearts of others.

It's a nice feeling.

10 points ahead of Chelsea with 5 games left.  Surely we are good now?

One thing I will say we need to fix going forward is goal difference…..if it did come down to it we would not prevail.

I reckon a lot of this is due to conserving energy when we take a lead. Unai learnt a lot from us running out of steam last season. When we get a stronger squad our goal difference should go up.

Liverpool and Man Utd have nothing else to play for so it would be understandable if we did finish 5th.

If we win one more Chelsea have to win all 5 don’t they?

Yep. It's a four game swing right now. One more makes it a five game swing. They have Liverpool too.

It's done, basically. Four game swing in five games, with the two teams below us playing each other, is so unlikely statistically that it isn't worth worrying about.

Given how badly we've played at times i'm still surprised we've almost wrapped it up with so much to spare. I'm not complaining, just mad how mixed a season it's been.

MOTD showed a graphic of Chelsea's results over the past 12 games last night. Apart from hammering us at VP, their only wins were in the Cups against lower-league teams.

I know people in football are generally blessed with super-confidence, but what on earth was Rosenior thinking, taking that job, there was no way that was ever going to work out well for him.

To be fair, we were really, really bad for a month or two back there. Feels good to be through it.
