Forest (A)
Sunderland (H)
Fulham (A)
Spurs (H)
Burnley (A)
Liverpool (H)
ManC (A)

You'd be disappointed not to get 4 wins out of that with most of our players back.

Chelsea need 6 points more than us in 7 games to deny us .

Think they are done. No break last summer, coach I suspect few of the players have faith in and likes of Enzo prioritising fitness for the WC. As poor as we were against them recently we still created plenty of chances that night.

Hard to get any kind of read from Liverpool's form.

Also important to look at what Liverpool and Chelsea have. It won’t be easy for either of them in current form. They’ll need to improve drastically to bridge the gap to us. And in any case we are going after 3rd.

Liverpool

Fulham H
Everton A
Palace H
Man U A
Chelsea H
Villa A
Brentford H

Chelsea

Man City H
Man U H
Brighton A
Forest H
Liverpool A
Spurs H
Sunderland A

If we qualify twice we should be allowed to keep one in our back pocket for the future.

After weekend I firmly believe we're 3 wins away from being guaranteed top 5 and CL.

Yeah, that's what I was alluding to last night. Win another 3 games, and Chelsea and Liverpool would likely need 15+ points each out of a total of 39 available. That seems unlikely on their current form.

We’ll qualify. The midfield, all of a sudden, McGinn, Tielemans, Onana, Luiz, Barkley, looks fooking strong

As it always was (even with our dodgy form), it is very unlikely that all three pursuers could generate the title winning form required to overtake us, especially given that they have to play each other (which is still the case), unless we showed form not seen under Unai.

We’ve been doing our best to oblige on the latter front, clearly, though you get the sense today that we’re reverting to the mean.

Chelsea put a few wins together, and United have been in terrific form (belying those who were calling them shit, in passing). But even with that momentum, we remain 6 points clear of fifth with 7 games to play - and you could argue, with effectively 6 games to play, really, given the 3 head to heads between those teams in match weeks 33 to 35.

Yes, we seem to have weathered the storm, and the signs are that we will back to our best soon.

Was just about to write this almost word for word.

Early days, but if we have in fact come out of our dip and get back to the form we’re capable of, I’d be confident of CL football next season, and I think 3rd place would still be very much on the table for us.

Very, very pleased.
