Clubs are taking advantage while we have players out injured but we are still fourth. When we get players back we will consolidate top four.

Nah it’ll be too late if we’re waiting for Tielemans. We have to be better and get results before then.

I still think manu are still riding the wave of their new manager bounce, dont think Carrick is the 2nd comming of fergie. They've still got the same players how many would get into Villa's (fully fit) team? Mbueno, amad not much else. We've had our wobble in Feb, their's is in the post. I'm sure of it. ;D

We need to focus on winning the Europa. The league is going to utter shit. We will be 6th if lucky if we don’t fix what is broken quickly. And there is absolutely no evidence we will.

We've won 2 of the last 8. That's on us, no one else.

I appreciate your confidence, but they have a much better and deeper squad IMO

Hate to break it to you - that fix you mention covers both competitions. Well either be competitive in both or neither.

I wish I was as confident as some of you, but just can't see it.

Maybe it's the ghost of the last game of last season still haunting me, but the stars seem to be aligning perfectly for us to balls it up.

And then we're back to square one, with pretty much the squad of 3 years ago, without the money or wage structure to improve it.

I’m just hoping we can focus as Spurs did last year and elevate performances sufficiently enough that while the league campaign was in the toilet they still won a trophy and qualified for the CL. Us not being in the CL from very strong positions two years running would be financial suicide.

It ain't happening I'm afraid - worse thing about it is we'll stay brassic whilst the media continue to wank themselves off into a frenzy over the usual suspects

It’s not only our fault though is it?  It’s being given a helping hand all over the fucking place.  This pragmatic “it’s our fault” gets right on my nerves to be honest.  That we’ve got to be pretty much perfect all season to stay above teams who can spend a billion more over5 years and have the backing from referees invalidates this nonsense.

Sorry can't  agree. We have had enough opportunities to stay ahead and fucked near enough every single one the last month

The usual suspects who actually deliver on their promise? I don't blame them.

We have just had a run of relatively easy fixtures and somehow we have got to get some form against better teams.

The wolves game is totally on us.  What about the extra £0.7bn Man Utd have been allowed to spend while being totally and utterly shite?  And the decisions they get, and we don’t / haven’t?

It’s nicer to feel like we are masters of our own destiny, but we aren’t.  Boiling it down to one game, or even 8 games, is bizarre.

We probably need Chelsea to be as shit as Tottenham were at the end of 2023/24.
