I would have Elliott in the squad - can he offer less than has been? No chance.

Is it possible to get a bet on Chelsea qualifying for the CL? I feel like jinxing it.

Some bookies have odds on them finishing top five, so you could do that. Though I suppose it is possible Brentford put a good run together and finish above them/us so we wouldn't make it and you still wouldn't win your bet, either.

I was looking for odds on us not to finish top five but can't see them anywhere.

Anyway if you want to find top five odds go onto Oddschecker but best wait until the evening kick-off finishes as they usually take outright offers away while matches are in progress.

Its getting to the point that paying 35m for elliot would actually save us money getting  into the CL. But its a obvious risk in case we still dont qualify

I had the Liverpool, Man Utd and Chelsea treble this morning which was 11-1.

Elliott hasn't been any good when he has played.

No course not, but he’s hardly been set up to succeed. We’ve produced barely anything of late, he cannot be worse in terms of offering something different.

Yeah. I know what Bailey can't do, I don't want to see it anymore.

I do agree but the conditions  for him have been far from ideal. He basically has been made to feel un-wanted and in out the team.

Its not been great for him or us.

Come on mate, you’ve followed Villa long enough to know players get better and better the longer they’re out of the team.

He feels unwanted because he is unwanted. He should've gone to the US when he had the chance.

True. I still firmly believe Mustapha Hadji will come good.

Has anyone suggested we just play the kids yet?
