No chance playing like that. I'm just pleased we have 51 points.

Maybe it's for the best.

Imagine if we played like that in the CL next season.

We'd be the laughing stock of Europe.

Keep saying it, if we continuously play exactly the same way and make exactly the same mistakes we’re going to drop like a stone. We’ve been fucking awful since the Newcastle game and Tielemans getting injured.

I was never fully convinced during the good run, we weren't passing the eye test for me. Sadly results are now reflecting performances for the most part. Regardless of how the rest of the season goes, this is a fucking pivotal summer for us

Luckily we won’t be able to spend anything again.

We could be 6th by 10pm Weds.

Let's hope Wolves can shaft Liverpool to help stop that.

We will be 6th soon unless we massively change our approach to games. For weeks we have been playing like we hope to nick something from a game - I’m sure there’s much more to it in a tactical sense, but that’s basically it. Don’t try to go out and score early, or even in the first half at all and then hope we can keep it tight and get a late goal. It is pathetic - and part of the reason the atmosphere is bad at Villa Park at the moment is everyone can sense the trepidation.

It should be abundantly clear to all involved it is not going to work. We have to be more proactive and attack games. That might leave us exposed, but it might also give us a chance. The performances over the last few weeks have been soul crushingly bad and now the results are really starting to reflect that.

Even if results go our way over the weekend we are just spunking away points on a regular basis due to our own incompetence. Our shit run is because we've been shit, no one has put in an amazing performance and massively outplayed us. They've just had to wait for us to fail to score and then gift away a goal.

We keep playing like this then it's over. Bored of trying to find positives these past few weeks, we simply haven't been good enough and it's been pathetic to watch.

Even if we go on some miraculous run once SJM and Tielemans are back, this past month has proved to me how much of a clear out is needed in the summer.
