It's 15.

Chelsea and Liverpool have 16.

Yes because of Chelsea's fixtures and I always thought they'd have a drop off due to playing all through last summer. Think we will finish 4th or 5th, Manure have the momentum and no European competition to distract them.

I’m amazed we are where we are, considering our squad, injuries and terrible transfer activity.

At this stage I’d take 5th.

It seems to me that Liverpool and Utd fans expect to get CL. Villa fans are just waiting for the wheels to fall off, to then say I told you so. The attitude needs to change.  I'm still positive we can get CL and expect many twists over the remaining games.

This, every word of this
Agree.
We've already blown it in some quarters while there is still so much to play for,  plus the Europa League campaign gives us an extra opportunity.

Anyone who thinks we’ve already blown it is overdoing it. I do think though that if we continue with current performance levels we won’t make it. We do need an uptick in performance and it needs to be before Tielemans is back.

There’sa lot of histrionics going on here. We’ve had a few weeks where we’ve not quite been ourselves that’s coincided with having lost a load of players to injury.

Every team has bad patches. We just need to weather the storm.

What's important is that we're not losing as often as we probably should be. That counts for a lot in the short to medium term whilst Liverpool and Chelsea are slacking.

Having said that, if this form continues we'll absolutely finish outside of 5th. Every team we play bar Spurs and Burnley will have something to play for in the run in and they're all going to think they can get something from us. It's not as black and white as that of course, given that we should hopefully have both SJM and Tieleman's back for the lion share of those games, but yeah.

I don't believe in the "have nothing to play for" games being any easier. Those teams often end-up playing well and taking points. Burnley are just about down, got knocked out of the FA Cup by Mansfield and then went to Chelsea and nearly won.

True, but give me the willful ignorance please.
