My ultra-scientific calculations have us on 70-73 from that list.

Ever since our good run started my focus has just been getting the points on the board - as useful as that list is the end of the season run in if a strange time we’re easy games can become tough and tough games easy based on who is playing for what.

My thinking is beating Wolves and Leeds and we’ll be in an amazing place.  Think both will be harder than they should be due to our struggles against a low block.

Need to get back to twatting shots in from all angles.

5 more wins and a few draws, taking into account our current level of performances due to injuries and the inconsistency of those chasing.
Hopefully we will kick on once YT and JMcG are back.

With the WC ahead this summer I think there could be a lot of players and clubs downing tools earlier this season. Two teams seem down already, might be up to 10 clubs with little or nothing to play for. So results might come a little easier like it did for us at the back end of last season, OT aside.

One of the teams that are "down already" always turn into peak-Real Madrid whenever we travel to play them. They'll kill themselves against us and lie down against everyone else, as usual.

Results came to us easier at the back end of last season because we were, in all seriousness, the best team in the league for a few months.

We downgraded the squad over the summer, whilst Arsenal and Man City brought in quality, which left us in third. We have essentially downgraded again, via injuries, and right now those chasing us are, player for player, better than we are. It's temporary and unfortunate, but surviving this is pivotal as we have some squad building to do in the summer. Hook or by crook, we need Champions League next season.

I think we'll have a very good idea after the next four games.

Indeed - and it’s already happening in this game. They’ll be 1950s Hungary against us.

Tammy got a hat-trick at the dog heads last time he played there.

Massive that we equalled Chelsea's point. Still in this.

We will get into the top 5. But it will go down to the wire when a few weeks ago it looked a lot more secure. Liverpool are still 9 back with a game in had so they will need a major turn on their fortunes but we need to do more ourselves.

If they beat Forest, they'll be six points behind us. A gap they could happily maintain until 2 games to go, where we play them, then away at Man City.

I'd MUCH rather be 6 points ahead than 6 points behind, but our current form is worrying, and we desperately need to string a couple of wins together to give us a bit of breathing space.  Chelsea drawing today is absolutely massive. On 88 minutes, they were going to be within a single result of overtaking us.  Tammy's goal was huge, but the Burnley goal was just as important to us, perhaps more so given the context.

Now I become a Forest and Everton fan for the next 24/48 hours.
