While there is a long way to go, I can see us getting reeled in due to our midfield issues.

I fear the last two home games will be the difference between 5th and 6th. Two relatively easy matches we should have got at least 4 points from. Similar to the draws with ipswich, palace and bournemouth last season….

On the flip side we wouldn't have been surprised with a defeat at Newcastle, so there's 3 of them back.

Yep, it’s always disappointing to have these kind of results but we’re still in a good position. We just need to get a bit of momentum going again.

I am more worried about the refereeing than our midfield.

Not really melodrama, but i think two unexpected home games like that will have a big impact on where we finish.

I think were in an amazing position.  Our insane form has dropped off a bit - but currently I am at the "we might only get CL + one or two trophies" stage - rather than worrying.

I think our Jan work has been cute - if we can get Elliots deal redone then I think that will be like a new signing.   The last 2 home games have been pretty freakish - awful decisions by the ref, and our players, and I dont think that will continue.

We look tired, which is worrying there is still a long way to go.

But then you have to take the opposite as well, winning at Newcastle for the first time in 20 years. Did you see that result and think 'we're going to win the league'? Probably not, just like you shouldn't think the wheels are going to come off with a couple of unexpected losses.

I think we've nicked points in certain games where a draw may have been fairer (WHam away, Yanited at home), we'll likely end-up where we deserve to and we have a cushion so we just need to get back to winning ways as soon as possible.

I’m not sure it’s tiredness, I think we look a bit flat. It does happen, but I think we’ll come through it.

For it to all go south on us, all three of Yanited, Liverpool and Chelsea would need to hit title winning type form. If you think about it, that's highly unlikely - not least as they have to play each other.

Our points per game would also have to decline to a level that we have not yet experienced under Unai.

So while there will undoubtedly be some ebb and flow, we really are in the box seats.
