Onana wasn't fit enough to play. Emery has stated that. It's 5 first teamers out. Half the team. Genuine first teamers, not Tottenham Ben Davies injured style first teamer. Actual players that play every game for us when fit.

Half your team out is a lot.
Correct. Can’t help but feel the loss of SJM , Tielemans and Kamara ain’t going to be tempered by incoming Luiz , Bailey et al. Going to be a tough month. Champions League chances 50/50 especially with Man U having found some form.

Have we ever started with those 4 at the same time - McGinn, Youri, Onana, Kamara?

Did McGinn start when Tielemans played at 10? I'm guessing so.

Either way, this is a proper injury crisis and it's not going away. Kamara is so fucking important and whenever he's injured our PPG drops. So we're scrapping now to get over the line. I fear the teams below us have hit form just as we are starting to wobble.

Saw Football Rankings had us at 99% before this weekend. Absolutely mental. Bet it isn't that now. Still think we'll do it, but another weekend like this any time soon and I'll probably flip on that.

Chance to rattle in points and goals this month with the next four league games.

It's a huge month, though. We've taken 0/6 from two extremely winnable home games, mitigated somewhat by a really good 3 points away from home. We need to be looking at winning every single game this month honestly.

Two extremely winnable home games but also two of the teams that we struggled with at the start of the season. Despite recent form, we're still 7 points clear of the team in 6th. Hopefully we get back to winning ways and those around us drop points. Man Utd and Chelsea are just getting the new manager bounce atm and will revert back to form at some point.

We didn't play any of them until November, and we beat all 4.

Should have quoted Monty as it was more a reply to his comment.

I guess we are better off avoiding the Sky Six opponents while our midfield is missing. It does put pressure on these games though.

Otherwise the Chelsea and Yanited matches in March become more do or die than they should be.

We're still 7/4 to finish outside the top four if anyone's so certain.
