Ideally we want this wrapped up asap so we can rest players and focus on europa. We need a trophy  its the missing ingredient

Once we've wrapped up qualification Unai will turn to the title.

Precisely Lee. One objective at a time. CL qualification first, then wrap up the FA Cup, beat Man City to win the league and then a night out in Turkey to take home the Europa. Piece of piss.

Night out in Turkey, then beat Man City I believe.

If we're not still challenging for the title by then and both Man City and Arsenal are, it raises the amusing scenario of Arsenal supporters crying at us rolling over in Manchester because the players are all hung over from their post-final celebrations.

(assuming our own European adventures carry on of course)

Aye. I read it quickly as the 26th. It’s the 20th. Man City 24th

Think it's weird they always have the Conference League Final after the Europa.

Palace have Arsenal last game so will almost certainly make the Conference League Final so Arsenal are basically playing against their reserve team.

Not that they wouldn't lose anyway, the twats.

Palace will not make the final. A decent chance they'll need a result to stay up though.

Maybe. But Burnley and Wolves will be down by the end of April so they only need one more team to go on a shit run.

Comparing 23/24 and our run to fourth place versus today, we have basically swapped out:

Diego Carlos
Alex Moreno
Moussa Diaby
Jacob Ramsey
Clement Lenglet
Nicolo Zaniolo
Robin Olsen
Jhon Duran

for:

Victor Lindelof
Marco Bizot
Ross Barkley
Emi Buendia
Tyrone Mings
Tammy Abraham
Amadou Onana
Jadon Sancho
Ian Maatsen
Evan Guessand
Andres Garcia
Lamare Bogarde

(albeit with McGinn and Tielemans being more available for 23/24, but possibly countered by Rogers now being a more important player than he was then)

Feels a lot stronger, even with the midfield issue.

Certainly looks a lot stronger in terms of depth.

If we were being picky, Diaby for Guessand, Ramsey for Sancho and Duran for Abraham (at time of writing) would probably give the ideal combination of the two.

Although you could maybe argue Abraham is more conducive to good team spirit than Durán, who doesn't seem to have been liked.

Yeah, you definitly could.

Duran's probably more conducive to pinging in a thunderbastard from 30 yards though.

The whole squad does that now
