Yeah, total focus on top 5. A midfield for any length of time with Guessand, Bogarde and Sancho will not cut it.

All of a sudden our February games look a bit tougher than they did.

Hopefully we have enough points to stay up.

Man utd and chelsea are enjoying their new manager bounce, both rookie managers, I expect them to fall away.

We're on 43, so we should do.   ;)

If 5th gets CL I'd take that now. Or ideally win the EL and qualify that way with the bonus of a trophy.

But if we don't get CL one way or another, the vultures will be circling in the summer to pick off our best players. Can't have another summer like the last one 😭

We need 25 points from 16 games, that would do it.

I'd take 4th place if it were offered now.

I'd gladly have taken it at the start of the season.

With how many key players that have not been at their best, top 5 this season would be incredible. With Kamara out for the season, only 1 striker, only 1 winger, Onana and Barkley constantly injured and left with only Lindelof and Konsa fit for 8 games, Emery would deserve  a statue.

I hope we get 4th and CL, and I think we will if we get a couple in soon

I honestly think though if, and it’s a big if at the moment, Arsenal have a wobble and we finish close to them and city we will look back and say we could have won it.

To be where we are now in terms of proximity to the top, and with a decent gap between us and 6th, I just think it could have been this season as no one has ran away with the league- yet.

Arsenal may win it at a canter now, but this just feels as genuinely close as we have ever been in my lifetime.

Still 4th would be a massive achievement, if we can win the Europa that would be an amazing season too

We have just seen us lose to a depleted poor Everton team at home. We do not have the squad to compete on 3 fronts. We are now going to have to rely on our summer transfer signings and that is a major problem.

I'm just unsettled by the capitalisation of your username more than anything else.

I think we'll do it, but it'll be much tighter then we'd like. Kamara being out is massive, but it's not like we're nailed on for a loss every time he doesn't play and I think we're a better squad with a far better mentality then when he was last out for the season.

Ultimately, I just want us to bag a trophy. I would gladly see us tank in the league if it meant us winning Europa.
