December is a very tough Month fixture wise.

Arsenal Chelsea West Ham Brighton away.
Wolves Arsenal Manure home.

Do well to get 10 points.

On 12 with 3 of those games to go

I think we’ll manage it. -2 to go.

While the start to the season wasn't ideal, the draw with Newcastle was OK, they are a good team.  Brentford away, they had one chance due to a Mings/Pau fuck up and scored.  A draw at Sunderland now looks like a good result and a draw at Everton's new stadium's second game is OK.  Obviously, Palace was the outlier.

Especially with us down to 10 men for a 1/3rd of it.

Sunderland was poor as we went ahead against 10 men and didn’t hold on.

There's a decent chance we might make top 5 now.

With a 7 point gap plus GD now in our favour I'm going to say this is all but done now. It would take an unprecedented dip in form to miss out from here.

We’re in a good spot, but it’s December.

All but done? Not even half way through the season. Nowhere near all but done.

Take your point, but if you look at the gaps - we could be 13-odd points ahead of Spudz and the Jaudis, 8 ahead of Yernited, if results go our way next weekend - you’d think that those sides would not be able to make up gaps like that over the second half of the season.

Bar catastrophe, of course. But we’re too well managed for that, surely?

I suppose that saying that at this juncture in the season could look like overconfidence, tempting fate, counting chickens, etc.

Alternatively, it might just be that that’s how it feels to genuinely be one of the “big four” (or five, or whatever), rather than the perrenial outsider?

Bar catastrophe we haven't seen under Unai it's done.

We'll be in the CL next season.

I'm never wrong.

If we win the europa league and finish top4/5 some garbage club like Liverpool or spurs will benefit by finishing 6th and getting CL. Seems unfair.

A run like we’ve already shown we’re capable of this season is all it would take for teams to catch us.

Don’t think it’ll happen, but it’s far from done.

Like winning 6 on the bounce, 10 in 11, or whatever it is?

I don’t think that any of our closest rivals (i.e., with chunky squads) for the last CL place (Jaudis, Spudz, Yernited) are capable of that.

Seriously?

There's a long, long way to go.
